Can Offset Notice Using Annual Leave

Today the HR looked for me again, this time told me offset my 3 days using annual leave, lol wtf, should be miscommunication la, don't think they will really so lame to makan my 3 days.

So all is good now, they will pay me up to my last day, no deduction of salary since I use 3 days of annual leave to offset the 3 days short of notice period.
