Watch Out for Gaslighter at Workplace

Recently at work I keep getting blamed for getting things wrong even though I'm pretty sure I did my homework and exercised due diligence, to the point I don't even dare to say or do too much, now everything I just okok and follow instruction to the letter, but even so also will be blamed lol wtf, it's like go left die, go right also die, don't move still die, really smlj, how to work like that. Confirmed Interview

I had a good feeling about this, this kind of thing when you talk you will know whether it is a good match or not. And not too long after the call, his colleague sent a virtual interview invite, damn that was fast, next week interview, hopefully can get it and throw letter lol. Looking Out for New Job

I want to give a very important word of advise, if you want to rejoin your company, think very carefully, the reason(s) that made you leave in the first place most likely will not go away, unless it's a people problem, for example a particular supervisor keep finding fault with you, then after that the boss call you to rejoin and told you this annoying guy no longer around, this actually happened to me in an earlier position, I went back and worked for a solid 8+ years. This time round, not a people problem, it's a gross lack of fulfilment, I find the things I do very meaningless, it's always cleaning somebody's shit, so bloody frustrating, now I know why my boss asked me to rejoin, because most of the projects burning or in a big pile of mess, not enough people to clear shit, feels lik

DBS POSB All Down

And it's not just the ATM and credit card down, their internet and mobile banking all down also. I think DBS outage happened many times already except this time I got personally affected so I am f***ing pissed off. "Our investigations indicate that the service disruption was caused by an issue at a data centre which is also being used by various other organisations," said DBS. "We are doing our utmost to swing over to our backup data centre." Simi issue at data centre? Also used by various other organisations? Wtf does that even mean?

Tried Jollibee for the First Time

I happened to see it on Foodpanda, delivery is only S$1.99, and the menu looks interesting, the pricing also around same price as KFC, seen a lot of mukbang videos saying good things about Jollibee so I decided to try it. I ordered 3 pieces original and 3 pieces spicy chicken, a whipped potato and a peach mango pie. I wanted to order a bit of everything but scared cannot finish, they also have beef steak, spaghetti and burgers. The original chicken is the best, very juicy and tender even for chicken breast, have the western food stall fried chicken kind of taste, feels comforting, but the most special thing is the cut of the chicken, somehow have more skin than usual and the skin is super delicious, every piece is super delicious and super satisfying, sibeh shiok. But I don't like the spicy chicken, too spicy for my taste, kind of overpower the chicken. The whipped potato just typical so nothing special, the peach mango piece too sweet for me, I still like McDonald's apple pie.

Hamas Attack on Israel

Not sure what is Hamas, according to Wikipedia, Hamas is a Palestinian political and terrorist organization that currently governs the Gaza Strip. But I know Israel and Palestine have been fighting for a long time, it's usually some small conflicts at the border or shooting some rockets into Israel, but this time it seems to be on a larger scale where Hamas actually invaded Israel, killed and took civilian hostages, hard to believe until I saw the videos. As expected Israel retaliated with heavy bombardment of the Gaza Strip, I thought for Hamas to attack Israel they must be very confident of certain victory, but doesn't seem to be the case, Israel even ordered a total blockade of the Gaza Strip, meaning no food, water, medicine, fuel and electricity, I wonder how Hamas is going to work around that. Israel also activated 300,000 reserve personnel, I don't think they need so much troops just for defense since their active personnel is 165,000 according to Wikipedia, so it so

Talking about Investing in Property

This week I was talking to a colleague about property investment, he shared that he owns a condo, his wife also own a condo, he also owns 3 industrial property i.e. office space. I was wondering how he got so much cash to buy so many properties, he told me he took loans, I still can't wrap my head around it, no matter how he explained there seems to be a lot of cash involved but I didn't ask too much, good for him to be able to get into property investment. One thing special is he didn't buy HDB flat, then he shared that once a person owns a HDB flat, the second property would require a 20% ABSD, it's like an additional amount to pay on top of the selling price, which is a lot of money. He did mention some sacrifices he have to make, I guess that would explain a bit. For me I'm out already, first I don't have so much cash, second, next year getting BTO with parents so even if I want to buy a condo, the 20% ABSD would render it impossible. Good for him la, for me
