I read this story with great interest because it reminded me of my own experience, how come as kids we are so happy and carefree, then after we grow up, things can change so drastically, family can be at each other's throat because of money. It's so difficult to say what is right and what is wrong, some can argue it's the parents responsibility to take care of children without expecting anything in return, or some can argue it should be the other way round, ultimately who is right? Video Call Wife with Whatsapp

The quality not bad, data usage also not much, she bought a week's data for 139 Baht, still ok but a bit pricy. By the way she told me someone took her iPhone charger, she put it in a bag and check in, didn't lock it, she took Tigerair, damn thief baggage handler, good thing it's just a charger and it's her old charger so not so bad. End up she bought a new phone. Baby seems fine, today also play the water, songkran started today, too bad I need to work cannot go, now very busy, so much shit to settle at work.

Wife and Baby Go Thailand

This morning woke up 2.30am to send them to airport, damn sleepy, now still sleepy, lucky I took leave today if not go work sure stoned. So today first time wife and baby travelling overseas without me, really worried how wife can cope, she checked in 2 luggage and carry one quite heavy bag with milk, water and essentials. Really worried about baby, she like to run around, at her age she is curious about everything, everything is new to her. Now waiting for wife to whatsapp me when she get a sim card. I think now no need to use callback card, that's one good thing with a smartphone. By the way this morning took taxi to airport I used the comfort app, now can choose metered fare or flat fare, from my house metered show $33-$37, flat fare was $28.50, I choose flat fare because last time I took at same time, I think I paid $33+. Went to River Safari

Video here. Now I know why they put the pandas there, because River Safari is boring, it's mostly fishes, if you like fish then it's great, the aquariums very beautiful but like I said, mostly fishes. Panda also nothing much to see, have to queue up, very long queue, limited number of people can go in at any point of time, go in the pandas also hiding, but managed to get some footage of one, kind of boring, don't know what's the buzz with pandas. I think the best is still Singapore Zoo la, more things to see, actually I like Night Safari the most, go at night very thrilling, following is my conclusion on the 4 parks: Singapore Zoo - Best Variety. Night Safari - Most Thrilling. Jurong Bird Park - Smelliest Park. River Safari - Most Boring Park.

Went to Jurong Bird Park

So last week we applied for the Friends of Wildlife membership, today we decided to check out the bird park, it's a beautiful place and it was much less crowded than Singapore Zoo or Night Safari, and after walking half the park, we then know why it is less popular, the stench of bird droppings. The stench can be overpowering especially at areas where there is water, I think the ponds are full of bird droppings, wife felt like puking lol, I also cannot take it, but other than the smell, the staff were very friendly, the environment is very beautiful, actually I think bird park is more beautiful than zoo, but bird park seems to be smaller than zoo. I think maybe because it rained a few times which made the smell worse. And the bird I like most are penguins, especially those smaller ones, the way they walk is very cute, anyway I didn't take photos of them, but can see in my video. As for spending, didn't really spend much there, only bought 3 scoops of ice-cream...

Went to Singapore Zoo and Night Safari

Today we went to the zoo and we applied for the Friends of Wildlife membership, one person $119 for a total of $238, baby no need to pay since she is under 3 years old. By the way can apply onsite, can get the membership card immediately, can pay by credit card. I think the membership is very worth it, it grants unlimited entry to the 4 parks (zoo, river and night safari, and bird park) for one year, and it also entitles us to 10% discount at most of the shops, so far only one that we visited didn't have discount, it was the one in Night Safari where we bought our shot glasses.
