Received Welcome and Genesis Grants

https://marrythaigirlsingapore.blogspot.com/2023/07/got-my-world-id-verified.html Today I checked and still haven't receive anything, just now after work I checked to see any app update on my iPhone and saw a new version 2.2.5 dated 27 Jul 2023, tried updating to that and managed to claim the Welcome grant which is 1 $WLD and it credited in pretty fast, after that the app started a 2 hours countdown. After waiting for 2 hours, another 25 $WLD came in, so now I have 26 $WLD, same for my wife. I saw on Discord those people using Android phones are still getting stuck, just checked the app version on Google Play store it's still 24 Jul 2023 version which is the launch day version, I guess nothing they can do but wait for update. By the way there's another grant coming on 31 Jul 2023, I think it's a weekly thing.

Got My World ID Verified

Today went to verify my World ID at Vega Solutions, 88 Market Street, CapitaSpring, #23-03, about 4 hours before appointment they sent a QR code, it is for entering the building. Went up and saw the office, not very big, not many people, only one guy who seems to be the intern came and attended to us. So there's two of these shiny orbs, just follow instructions on my World App, after that scan my eye, at first I thought scan one by one, end up it is capable of scanning both at the same time. The scan is very fast as long as you in position, mine took tiny bit longer because I go and close one eye lol, just leave both eyes open will do and don't stand too close, once white circle forms mean scan finish, after that app will load a bit to form a circle and then show verified. Sibeh cool sia. The appointment they don't enforce, if reach early can just go up, no queue, just a few people came and scan then go already, because the whole process very fast. They have two scanning locations at Tanjong Pagar area. The names World ID, Worldcoin and World App, sounds really scammy, if not for Sam Altman I would have easily dismissed this, so far seems pretty legit, but can't say for sure yet. I played around with the app, the very interesting part is that it is actually also a crypto wallet, when you register it will create a Gnosis multisig wallet for you on the Optimism mainnet. You can use this wallet to buy, sell or send crypto.
