Tried Jollibee for the First Time

I happened to see it on Foodpanda, delivery is only S$1.99, and the menu looks interesting, the pricing also around same price as KFC, seen a lot of mukbang videos saying good things about Jollibee so I decided to try it. I ordered 3 pieces original and 3 pieces spicy chicken, a whipped potato and a peach mango pie. I wanted to order a bit of everything but scared cannot finish, they also have beef steak, spaghetti and burgers. The original chicken is the best, very juicy and tender even for chicken breast, have the western food stall fried chicken kind of taste, feels comforting, but the most special thing is the cut of the chicken, somehow have more skin than usual and the skin is super delicious, every piece is super delicious and super satisfying, sibeh shiok. But I don't like the spicy chicken, too spicy for my taste, kind of overpower the chicken. The whipped potato just typical so nothing special, the peach mango piece too sweet for me, I still like McDonald's apple pie....

Today Tried Li Yuan Mee Pok

Saw an offer on Foodpanda and decided to try, and very glad I did. They have a few variety of Mee Pok (or rather Bak Chor Mee), I ordered the Shoyu Mee Pok and Mushroom Minced Meat Noodle, both are very nice but personally I find the Shoyu one is a bit heavier on taste, I think I like the normal one more. Wife also like, it reminds her of the dumpling noodle back in Khao San Road. They probably improved on our local Bak Chor Mee, I bet the founder went to many stalls to try. Their noodle is cooked just nice, the pork just normal stuff, but the pork ball a bit special, have tiny chewy bits, sort of enhance the flavour, the sauce is just right, some other stalls add too much vinegar but this one is just nice, then lots of crispy bits at the bottom, soup is nice too, overall very well balanced and satisfying. This is easily one of the best I have tried, but I think Bak Chor Mee is an extremely competitive dish in Singapore, many good ones, hard to rank, another one I like is the Bedok...

Popeyes Delivery Sucks

Me and wife was craving for some fried chicken but don't feel like eating KFC, so decided to try Popeyes delivery. They don't have foodpanda or deliveroo for our area so had to order via the Zeoniq platform, quite easy to use though. Ordered the sour cream chicken and spicy chicken savers set, comes with a large mash potato and a garlic rice. Also ordered a large coleslaw and a large cheese fries for daughter. End up the coleslaw is missing from the delivery, and the fries came without any cheese, good thing daughter not disappointed, I think just fries she happy. Called the store and the staff had the cheek to tell me to go down any day to collect, seriously wtf, then I might as well just go buy the whole thing instead of delivery right, don't know the staff trying to be funny or what. Then I tried to submit a feedback via their contact us page, it kind of bugged out, seriously. I go to their Twitter account, looks dead. Then they have Facebook, seems more active but I don...
