My GST Voucher 2014

I won't get getting any cash or Medisave top-up, can only get the U-Save rebates, let's see how much I can get. From what I understand, U-Save eligibility is according to home size and limited to HDB flats only, and the smaller your flat, the more you get. Mine is a 2-room HDB flat, so let's see. This is for U-Save. Married with Children and Still Natural to Fall in Love?

"I still love my husband and my son. But I am all alone in Singapore and I need someone here too, because I need to stay and work here for many years to support my family back home." Huh? She's already married and still needs another man to be there for her? I don't understand the logic, she got herself a boyfriend and isn't that considered cheating on her husband? If it's just a platonic relationship then I think it's fine but if you read the article, you can tell that the relationship is more than just friends. How about her son, she said she still love her husband and son, so how can she do something like this? I really don't understand.

Jubilee Baby Gift Both Singaporean Parents Then Eligible?

Source A Marie Dini Osmond said, "For Singaporean babies only and both parents must be Singaporean in order to be eligible for this. I really hope the government have this criteria in place." So if I have a baby next year and I'm not supposed to be eligible because my wife is a foreigner? Haha so sad, one freebie brings out the selfishness of this country's people, I'm sure she's not the only one who thinks like that, a lot of Singaporeans simply hate foreigners, even if spouse of Singaporeans also hate, it's just the way it is. Good Dad Poor Dad

Just returned from the cremation ceremony of my second uncle; my father is the youngest of four brothers. Let's just call this second uncle "Lao Er" (meaning number two). I heard many stories about uncle Lao Er from my parents, he was both a heavy smoker and gambler, and his gamble was on 4D and TOTO. I also heard that he can spend hundreds of dollars in a week on gambling. When uncle Lao Er was still around, he was earning about 500 Singapore dollars a month, I'm not sure if his wife is working. My uncles and aunties would sometimes chip in some money for him, but I heard he would spend it on gambling almost immediately. He and his wife were living in a 2-room flat rented from the government, I heard they paid 100+ a month. He has a son and a daughter, his daughter is married and seems to be doing fine, his son is not doing so well. Let's call his son Ah Boy. GST Voucher - Cash Should be Based on Per Capita Household Income

This would extend more help to those with children because Singaporeans under the age of 21 are not eligible for the cash component, and most Singaporeans that age are usually studying or serving national service, or even if they work part-time, there's also a limit to how much they can contribute to the family. It will benefit families with kids, like my co-worker, he has 3 kids under the age of 21, I'm not sure whether his wife is working or whether she is eligible for the cash component but he for sure is not eligible because his assessable income is over the limit of S$24000. If I make a wild guess, let's say his total monthly household income is S$5000 and divided by 5 would be S$1000 per capita. As for me, my total monthly household income is S$3480 and divided by me and my wife would be S$1740, so actually I'm having an easier time than him. GENERAL LTVP+ will be in effect from 01 Apr 2012. LTVP+ holders will enjoy extended duration of residency, public healthcare subsidies and easier access to employment.
