Cat A COE S$105,000

This is Sep 2nd bidding price, I think it's even more expensive than the car itself, it's like buying a car with the price of two or more cars. No wonder last weekend when I walked past what used to be a row of car dealers near my home, half the shop space empty, only left one shop but no people inside, I walked past the door automatically opened, I looked inside no staff or customer, totally no people in view but still have quite a number of expensive-looking cars. I don't drive, don't even have driving licence, don't think I can afford to buy car anyway especially now the COE so high, for me just take bus and MRT can already, car is for rich people.

Went for Dental Review

Says better do crown soon so booked appointment for next year January together with cleaning. Lucky today no need to pay money so no charge haha, feels happy about it, kns, I thought today going to charge me but glad they didn't. Better take care of teeth, dental sibeh expensive here.

Long Time Never Collect Money from Adsense

Not sure if blogging is still a thing these days, I started out wanting to share my journey of a Singaporean marrying a foreign lady in Singapore, looking back it has been more than 12 years, how time flies. Now it's more like my personal journal, just keep track of the important stuff that happens in my life, or some events that I am interested in, most probably going to keep updating whenever I have time, when my daughter gets bigger, hopefully she can somehow find this blog haha.

Aircon General Servicing S$54

One year ago it was S$45 including gst, now S$54 also including gst, meaning S$9 increase, 20% increase! That 1% gst increase become 20% increase, wah kns, these days everything getting expensive, have to tighten belt, I think I will stop buying those 20 sticks cigarettes, just buy those hand-roll and roll myself, should be able to save a lot of money. Best is don't smoke, but seriously hard to quit after smoking so many years.

Root Canal Follow-Up

I thought today no need to pay end up still have to pay S$294.84. Costs Root canal obturation - one canal, S$0 X-ray, S$41.04 Preliminary restoration for crown - direct, S$253.80 Total: S$294.84 I think first item already paid together with the root canal payment last time so no charge. The dentist did 3 x-rays, heng never charge 3 times. No idea what the last one is for, came out of nowhere, I guess it's part of whatever the heck was done in that 1 hour and 45 minutes. Dentist say need to do crown asap, but review in 2 weeks, say only review, then the crown next year Jan, well at least if can push to next year, I can claim from company. Kns, told my daughter to take care of her teeth, dental visit can be very costly, heartache siol.

Chinese Privilege in Singapore?

Today I saw the news about this Subhas Nair guy who got jailed for some race and religion video, I went to YouTube to search for it and found a VICE video interviewing his sister, after that the following video appeared in my feed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSThaUt80Bc One of the girls mentioned the term "chinese privilege", I very surprised because it is the first time I hear of this term in Singapore, seriously I have never hear of it from my family, friends, colleagues or even army platoon mates, not during NS and not during reservist. I probably didn't live under a rock right, I mean people around me didn't mention it at all lol. But thinking about it, Chinese where got privilege, I Chinese but I don't feel privileged leh, education, job, NS, housing all no difference leh, where got privilege? Eat at hawker all have to queue, go toilet all same toilet, go hospital all same hospital, GST 8% all kena, income tax property tax all same, where got privilege?
