Replaced My Bathroom Basin Tap

These few weeks I noticed that the tap was dripping, not a lot to make any difference to my utility bill but it is very annoying. So today I went and bought a $30 tap and tried replacing by myself. I had only a big spanner and I thought it was sufficient but ended up that the angle was very awkward and I can't get in to loosen the tap, so I went and google and found that there is a tool call Basin Wrench, one piece only $7, went back to the same shop to buy. So with the new tool, it was so much easier to loosen the tap, the tool can be used to loosen the hose and the other side can be used to loosen the tap, very useful 2-in-1 tool. The shop which sold me the tap offered to replace for me but I declined, I guess it's not going to be cheap, after trying it out myself it's actually very easy to do, just need the right tool and all can be done in less than 15 minutes.

iPhone SE So Small!

Just now while checking out iPad Mini 4, I also looked at the iPhone SE, it is so small, alamak, after using iPhone 6S Plus the SE looks so tiny lol, think I won't buy, will wait for the new iPhone and see how. 6S Plus is too big for me, SE is too tiny, I think something like 6S would be nice but don't feel like buying 6S since wife already have 6S Plus, if want to buy might as well wait for next generation and see what new things they have.

Bought iPad Mini 4 @ $548 for Baby

Just now went to Challenger and bought a gold iPad Mini 4 16GB for $548. The salesman said if I sign up for membership I only need to pay $30 more to get 2 freebies worth $68, sounds like a good deal so I signed up. The freebies are screen protector ($29) and casing ($39) for iPad Mini 4. I put on the screen protector myself, damn so delicate have to be very careful, took more than 30 mins to put on lol. After that found that the casing have one long horizontal scratch, don't know I scratch it or it was already there but never mind since the purpose of the casing is to protect the iPad, and since it is for baby I guess eventually will have lots of scratches so I tell myself don't bother la. And apple products always so easy to setup and use, no sweat at all, iOS really the best.

Baby Watching Cartoon on Wife's iPhone

Times flies, baby is now 10 months old, now she can crawl, can stand but still cannot walk, if put her on ground she will panic, I think she is aware that if she fall it won't be like falling on bed, it will be painful, she hit her head twice so I guess she knows. She started to be interested in baby songs from YouTube, those teaching how to count numbers or abc songs. So now she is contending with wife for iPhone so when baby watch wife cannot watch Thai movies, if wife watch Thai movies baby will make noise. So maybe later drop by to get an iPad, maybe get an iPad Mini.

Phew Busy Week!

After coming back from holiday so many things to do, this week work until very late almost everyday, yesterday 11PM still at home sending email, sigh, damn rat race. But at least solved one major issue, few months nobody can solve then my boss ask me to help out, in the end 3 days settle lol, I find that every time I kena difficult problem I always manage to solve it on Friday, maybe Friday is my lucky day. Can only hope coming bonus good, better give me good one, knn all the difficult problems always throw to me, but actually I find that my team members don't try hard enough, actually it's all not that difficult, just have to commit time to find out how to fix it, but most people just want to go home on the dot, like that how to leave good impression to boss, not that I want to take credit, it's that they cannot solve the problem then my boss throw to me, I don't mind doing other people shit since my boss can see that I can deliver, he knows I can deliver that'

Just Checked Out Airbnb

Damn they have so many nice apartments for rent, the kind of price I pay for a good hotel I can rent a whole apartment! Sigh too bad, in future I will definitely try airbnb, just saw a really nice apartment, one night only $113, can easily accommodate 7 or even 8 people. There are also rooms at the lower price range with decent facilities, way better than staying at hotel.

iPhone SE Very Tempting

The phone came out this week with the 16GB version selling at S$658 and the 64GB at S$828. This phone is basically 6S with some negligible difference built as iPhone 5 size and casing. The 16GB price is around 2/3 of the 6S, makes me want to buy on impulse at apple store. I wasn't that much into iPhone until my last holiday where it impressed me even more, I know apple products are very high quality and user friendly but I agree even more after playing with it for extended periods of time. The iOS is no doubt the best mobile OS, I played with Android and Windows and I don't like either, Windows is just plain garbage, as for Android there is no consistency, everybody just wants to make their own version, the Xiaomi version is good that's why their phone is so popular, Samsung is garbage, see it's like consumer is at the mercy of the mobile phone maker, sometimes you get it good, sometimes you get it shitty, there is no such nonsense with iOS because there is only one

Sushi Express - Sushi Take-Out

Today I finally decided to try, glad I did so because the quality is better than expected even though it's only $0.50 per piece. The reason that was holding me back was my experience at Umi sushi take-out, that time when I tried, their sushi was not fresh, and their shop smells fishy, super disgusting. I also bought a packet of Hana Maki, 4 pieces for $5, 3 pieces would cost $6.39 at Sakae. I find that their products are very fresh, another thing is they don't have this fishy smell lingering around, if fish is fresh there shouldn't be any smell. Definitely going back again.

POSB Everyday Card Annual Fee Waiver

Image
Today I checked my card statement and found that there is an extra charge of $128.4 which consists of the annual fee and GST: Annual Fee and GST So I called the POSB hotline 1800 339 6666, pressed through some numbers and entered my card number, after a while system informed me that my annual fee and GST has been waived and will be reflected in my next bill and takes 1 day to reflect in iBanking, very simple process.

NUH Sports Centre Follow-Up Visit

Today I went back to specialist to see the MRI result, say I don't have muscle tear, only strain, but how come strain have blood, anyway the doctor say will heal but 3 months don't do pushing, he wrote another memo to excuse me from push-up permanently. Good thing is sounds like eventually I can recover to full strength and don't need surgery, phew.
