PMD Owners in Singapore

Delivery Riders

From this link looks like there are about 7000 delivery riders who are affected by the PMD ban on footpaths:

I think if the number is provided by the delivery companies, I suppose it is reliable since they would know which of their riders are using PMD, in fact when a person registers as their partner, they are required to indicate the mode of transport.

All Other PMD Owners

From these two links looks like there are about 100000 registered PMD, of which 20000 are UL2272-certified:
As for the 100000 registered PMD, of which 20000 are UL2272-certified, I think at this point it doesn't matter whether they are certified or not, the point is money has been spent on the devices be it for work use, assistive use, leisure or just plain convenience. So we shall just use the number 100000.

100000-7000, means there are 93000 PMD owners who are not delivery riders.

But this 93000 does not include people like me who have not registered nor those who choose not to register. At this point, there is no reason to register, nobody will pay $20 for registration and $3 for the identification mark because no one in their right mind is going to push a few hundred meters or even a few KM to the nearest cycling path or PCN, so the footpath ban is as good as a total ban.

For our case, the nearest cycling path is about 2.1KM away, the nearest PCN is about 3KM away, what does the government expect my wife to do? Push all the way? Our home to the kindergarten don't have cycling path nor PCN, so government expect my daughter to sit on the PMD, then my wife push 1KM to the kindergarten? Or how about just walk 1KM? Then in the first place I spend $799 to buy the PMD for what?
