M1 500Mbps Fibre Broadband Plan @ S$29.90

Yesterday my M1 broadband plan contract ended, so today I called up their customer service to check if the price of S$29.90 will remain the same, the service staff said it will follow the existing 500Mbps plan of S$29.90 which means for me it will remain the same.

The staff mentioned that other than the S$29.90, there will be a monthly charge of S$8.00 for the SurfValue Plan, it is a mobile broadband SIM card that came with the fibre broadband. So I asked to cancel it and the staff mentioned it will take effect within 2 hours and reflect in next month's bill.

By the way this M1 fibre broadband is actually for my parents, it is installed at their house, if can keep as no contract better because in 2023 we will probably move to Tengah.
