Bought Windows 10 Professional Retail Key Online

I finished assembling and setting up my new PC and also setup my Hades Canyon for my daughter (also clean and repaste), totally forgot about the operating system for the new PC.

So I went online to search for cheap keys, found this site: https://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/buy-windows-10-professional-cd-key-compare-prices

Finally ended up buying at Royal CD Keys for 2.67 EUR which is about 4.18 SGD.

If you are wondering what's the difference between OEM or retail key, the main difference is there's no support from Microsoft for OEM keys, whereas retail you can call Microsoft for support, but then again how often does one actually call Microsoft, Windows 10 is very stable and easy to install.

Other than that, OEM key are selling slightly cheaper, if the above doesn't mean anything to you, then just go for OEM key, no point paying that extra if you are never going to need support.

Ultimately, no point paying a few hundred dollars for an operating system especially for home PC, just get the cheapest working one will do.

Update: Final charge after converting is S$4.34.
