Reddit r/CryptoCurrency Moons

This morning saw lots of news about the MOON token mooning and I thought not another PEPE shitcoin but after reading more about it then I realised it's a token released by Reddit, it's meant as a reward for participants of the r/CryptoCurrency subreddit, then I checked my Reddit mobile app and saw a "Vault" and there is an Ethereum address tied to it.

I think I created the vault last year on my iPhone 8 and forgot about it, I can't remember the vault password or whether I noted down the seed phrase. The vault is actually an Ethereum-based wallet that can be restored on MetaMask!

Then recently I bought iPhone 14 Plus, I installed everything from scratch, thought the vault gone case already because usually for crypto wallet fresh installation one has to recover from seed phrase, restore from iCloud backup won't work, at least I'm sure for MetaMask and Crypto.com Defi wallet they don't save on iCloud.

After work, I went home and managed to recover the vault using the vault password, looks like the vault is backup to Reddit's server and only accessible by the vault password, note that it is a separate password from the Reddit account, the password requirement is a bit different:

- Minimum 12 characters

- At least 1 special symbol

- At least 1 capital letter

- At least 1 digit

My vault password is actually my Reddit password (10 chars) + 2 addtional characters lol, kns.

More about the vault, it has two parts, one is for the MOON token which resides on the Arbitrum Nova network, the other is the avatar NFT which resides on the Polygon network, both are the same Ethereum address but on different network.

You can only search for the NFT on OpenSea, just search for the NFT's smart contract address on OpenSea.

Oh by the way I have ~96 MOON, which as of writing is worth US$50.50 lol. I think I hold it, don't sell first because I think it will go up more, the supply right now is 121,303,801, so the market cap is ~US$63M, see that stupid totally useless crap PEPE the market cap also ~US$647M, 10x of MOON, wtf, MOON at least I can convert to Reddit Coins to buy useless awards, ok doesn't sound any better.
