Singapore Presidential Election Soon

I was totally expecting a walk-in i.e. no contest since Tharman came out to contest, I'm pretty sure there is no dispute if I say that this guy is one of the most popular politician if not the most popular in Singapore; he got 74.61% of votes in GE2020, the highest among all constituencies.

Then surprise, 3 more candidates stepped forward, also good to have fair competition, so now the list of candidates below.

Tharman Shanmugaratnam, I'm sure everybody knows him even if you don't know what he do.


George Goh Ching Wah (left), brought Australian retailer Harvey Norman to Singapore, also the non-resident ambassador to Morocco.

Seng Soon Kia (right), former secondary school teacher.


Turritopsis Dohrnii Teo En Ming, IT consultant.
