Aircon Guys Came to Check Aircon

Wednesday managed to reach the Malaysian guy, then yesterday he and two other guys came to check, they said afternoon 3pm to 4pm but didn't come, he called me and said he will be late and come around 5pm-6pm, then 6:30pm still never come so I called, he said he keeping stuff and will come afterwards, finally came at almost 8pm, but can tell they looked tired and came from other site (he told me they came from Woodlands), probably busy with other installations.

They checked the gas pipe, one point leading out of the fan coil unit, another point leading into the compressor, both no leakage, the guy said the gas leaked until left half, he used some meter to check, used a sponge and some white stuff that looked like soap, but he confirmed that for his part no leakage; they can only access the pipes that they installed, they cannot access inside the fan coil unit or compressor to check because warranty is under Daikin. They also tightened the two points.

Finally he topped up the gas with R32, used two small tanks (saw the R32 on the tanks). He told me to try using first and keep to 23-24 degrees, I told him initially I also set around 23-24 and it was cold for a month, after that getting less cold. He said if later still not cold, then he have to engage Daikin to come together to check the fan coil unit and compressor, likely is the fan coil unit faulty, he said he also encountered same model at other places also the fan coil faulty and leaking gas.

Then yesterday night it was cold, only set 23, fan 2 bars, after that cold already I changed to 24 and fan 1 bar, my own thermometer shows 24.5-25. Then today like right now, I do the same thing, now thermometer showing 24.5-25, same like when it was just installed. This is how aircon supposed to be, previously machiam just blowing cool air not cold air.

Hopefully it's not hardware faulty and the tightening fixed the leakage, if not one month later not cold again have to message him to get Daikin to come check.
